Halifax native Miss Cadence is the founding leader of East Coast Burlesque.
Miss Cadence has single-handedly guided the East coast scene, bringing burlesque to a part of the country where it was never thought possible.
Her troupe Pink Velvet Burlesque is responsible for making burlesque a "must see" event in NS and PEI.
Always breaking boundaries and raising the bar, her pin up style and fashion has been influential in Halifax subculture. Her store front, Pretty Things Boutique, is a destination for aspiring East coast burlesquers.
Miss Cadences style crosses every genre: from a disappearing act on a black lit stage to a classic bump and grind with a shake and shimmy. She incorporates every discipline with precision. She is the backbone of the scene and her leadership and ability to create with realistic vision has made her a touring star for almost a decade.
It is with great pride we induct Miss Cadence into the Canadian burlesque Hall of Fame.
